Community Education

Knowledge & Responsibility

Community education and engagement is a vital aspect of effective communication. Understanding an audience’s interests and desires informs the type of communication style employed to reach them. Through direct engagement and committed action, I promote inclusion and educational resources to motivate audience participation and behavior change.

I currently partner with K-8th grade public schools to facilitate natural ecology stewardship and use this site a resource for materials. I also work with families, non-profit organizations and local government to develop communication content that connects scientific knowledge with mass communication.
